Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business System Analyst with strong Property Casualty PC insurance experience Guidewire expertise and proficiency in SQL The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and writing skills and will be responsible for analyzing business requirements designing solutions and ensuring the successful implementation of systems
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
Guidewire Expertise Utilize your deep knowledge of Guidewire software to design configure and implement solutions that meet business needs
SQL Proficiency Develop and execute SQL queries to extract manipulate and analyze data for reporting and decisionmaking purposes
Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with stakeholders including business users IT teams and vendors to gather requirements define solutions and ensure successful project delivery
Documentation Create detailed documentation including business requirements functional specifications and user guides to support system implementation and maintenance
Communication Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and ensure clear understanding of project goals and deliverables
Project Management Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
Qualifications
Education Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field
Experience 12 to 15 years of overall experience in business analysis with a strong focus on PC insurance and Guidewire software
Technical Skills Proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis and reporting
Communication Skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
ProblemSolving Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions
Team Player Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders
