Role overview:
- The goal of this role is to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions within the Salesforce platform, supporting key business functions across the company.
- You'll work on innovative projects that improve internal processes and enhance customer experiences, contributing to a more efficient and reliable technology ecosystem.
- Reporting to the Manager of Customer Experience, Business Technology, this role will focus on the development and integration of Salesforce Gov Cloud solutions that align with strategic business goals.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical implementations, and play a key role in ensuring system reliability and performance
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products.
- Provide a detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks of a solution s feasibility and functionality.
- Implement customer-facing and internal-based solutions inside the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Components, and LWC. Implement integration between Salesforce and other external systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product managers to find the most suitable solution for their needs.
- Owning the deliverables from discovery to deployment with appropriate documentation.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and functional tests.
Skills:
- 3+ years hands-on Salesforce development with solid knowledge of Apex, Process Automation, and Lightning Web Components.
- 5+ years of Software development experience with experience in Java, Python or JavaScript.
- Experience implementing various projects/programs for Sales Cloud, Communities, Service Cloud Console, etc.
- Experience working with source control and continuous integration.
- Demonstrable ability to drive end-to-end lifecycle, from conception to launch and post-launch support.
- Solid understanding of developing secure solutions that leverage native Salesforce practices to protect sensitive data.
And Extra Credit if You Have Experience in Any of the Following!
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant).
- Experience with AI-powered Salesforce features like Einstein Bots or predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines specific to Salesforce.
- Experience in optimizing support workflows and automation within customer service environments.
