Functional Tester

• Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements and user stories.
• Execute test cases and document test results, ensuring all functionalities meet specified requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure test data readiness and manage test environments to support test execution.
• Validate system integration and end-to-end workflows, focusing on Medicaid-specific functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to ensure alignment on requirements and test objectives.
• Maintain and update test documentation, ensuring it reflects the current state of the system and testing efforts.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and assisting end-users during the testing process.

• Proven experience in creating and executing test cases for software applications.
• Strong understanding of sAFE Agile lifecycle methodology and its application in software development.
• Knowledge on Medicaid systems and understanding of Medicaid-specific requirements and processes is a PLUS.
• Proficiency in using test management tools and defect tracking systems.
