Title: Senior Data Reporting Analyst

Location: Saint Louis, MO

Onsite/hybrid/remote: 4 day onsite and 1 day remote

Salary: $90,000 - 100,000 yearly

Position Summary:

Why: They need someone to provide critical data analysis and insights that drive strategic growth and enhance customer value within the Corporate Finance ERP team.

Mission: This candidate will be the support of Data & Analytic solutions within the Finance ERP team, driving data-informed decision-making through expert business process analysis, solution development, and data management. This candidate will have to provide critical data analysis and insights that drive strategic growth and enhance customer value within the Corporate Finance ERP team.

Day to day:

• Interface with directors, VPs, and SVPs:Regularly meet with senior leaders to discuss reporting needs, present analytical findings, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.


• Translate technical jargon for leadership:Simplify complex data and technical concepts into clear, understandable information for executive-level stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.


• Provide daily updates to reporting:Generate and distribute daily reports on key financial and operational metrics, keeping leadership informed on real-time business performance.


• Work extensively with databases (E Hana, SQL Server, Oracle):Utilize advanced SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases, supporting reporting and analytical needs.


• Contribute to database development projects, including creating databases for other teams:Participate in designing and implementing database solutions, building databases to facilitate data management across various departments.


• Develop executive-level dashboards in Tableau:Create interactive Tableau dashboards that provide senior executives with actionable insights into critical business metrics.


• Administer the Tableau site (if knowledgeable in permissioning):Manage Tableau server administration, including user access and permissions, to ensure secure and efficient data access.


• Create and manage reports using SAP BusinessObjects:Develop and maintain financial and operational reports in SAP BusinessObjects, meeting the reporting needs of diverse stakeholders.


• Develop SQL queries to extract data for reports:Design and optimize SQL queries to retrieve accurate and relevant data from databases for reporting purposes.


• Support reporting for various departments (Product, Technology, Field Operations, Business Planning):Provide tailored reporting and analytical support to multiple departments, delivering insights to improve performance and decision-making.

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of experience within a reporting and analytics team, preferably in a finance environment.


• 3+ years of SQL Server, Oracle, HANA.


• Advanced SQL skills, including ETL processing


• Ability to create and manage reports for various departments (Product, Technology, Field Operations, Business Planning).


• Experience with Tableau, including dashboarding for executive levels.


• Demonstrated knowledge of ERP, particularly SAP.


• Excellent verbal and written skills.

Plusses:

• Experience with SAP business objects (a reporting tool they use) would be VERY interesting to the HM if we can find someone with this!


• Experience with Python.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Required.
