ServiceNow Security Consultant
ServiceNow Security Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and governance of security standards across ServiceNow platform.
This role is critical in aligning platform security with enterprise policies, integrating identity management systems, and supporting scalable, audit-ready access models.
The ideal candidate will bring deep ServiceNow expertise, a security-first mindset, and experience working in large, regulated enterprise environments.
Define and enforce platform-wide ServiceNow security architecture, access control policies.
Collaborate with Identity Management teams to automate user provisioning and workflows.
Develop and maintain governance frameworks and audit documentation for ServiceNow security.
Conduct periodic user access reviews, configuration assessments, and compliance audits.
Evaluate the security implications of new feature deployments, customizations, and integrations.
Serve as the ServiceNow security subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance to development, architecture, and compliance teams.
Support risk and compliance initiatives, including SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, and internal security audits.
5+ years experience with ServiceNow, on platform security, access control, and role configuration.
Expertise in ServiceNow ACLs, roles, groups, domain separation, and security best practices.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with Identity Providers and identity management systems.
Expertise in ITIL frameworks and their application within ServiceNow architecture and governance.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Implementation Specialist (Security Operations, GRC, or other relevant modules).
Experience with ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules and risk assessment workflows.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001/27701, SOC2, or HIPAA.
Integration experience using SAML, OAuth, SCIM, or LDAP.
Experience with vulnerability management, risk scoring, and audit response.
Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API for scripting, customizing security rules within ServiceNow.
Experience working in large enterprise environments with complex security governance models.
Demonstrated success in supporting audits and regulatory compliance initiatives.
