Title: Deployment Resource
Must be onsite in Santa Clara - Onsite 3 days a week
What you'll be doing:
- Designs, plans and coordinates the implementation of network technologies in support of defined requirements generated by business and growth demands
- Validate project requirements, define project scope, develop project schedules and produce detailed designs for assigned projects
- Produce work breakdown structures that demonstrate understanding of proposed changes and how the change will be implemented with minimal service impact
- Performs analysis and diagnosis of highly sophisticated networking problems
- You'll build simulated networks in test labs to resolve highly significant problems and compatibility issues
- Prepare and maintain up to date documentation detailing configuration of deployed solutions. Generates network configurations and run books.
- Plans and drives highly complex network upgrade and migration activity including highly automated environments. This can include quarterly maintenance events involving multiple coordinated changes with diverse stakeholders.
- Provides mentorship and technical leadership for existing network team members & partner teams during outages, downtimes where both technical and business communication skills are vital. appropriate
What we need to see:
- Experience and expertise in network operations and service optimization in highly available, network infrastructure solutions in a multi-vendor large-scale, multi-site, international environment. Some design experience is also a requirement.
- WAN circuits and protocols (SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN)
- Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, eBGP/BGP, PIM Multicast)
- Diverse skills in client and network operating systems such as Linux, Windows, Cumulus, Cisco IOS, Arista OS, etc.
- Virtualization & Overlay technologies, both networking (VxLAN, BGP-MP, VRFs) and compute (VMware, Kubernetes, Docker) and their various methods for integration.
- High level internetworking problem solving in an enterprise and web scale network environments
- Expertise in collaborating with vendors to run circuit delivery, problem solving and migrations
- CCIE or equivalent certifications are a plus
