Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing LANs and VLANs
- 3+ years of experience designing, deploying, and providing advanced support of multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks
- 3+ years of expertise creating new network architectures or modifying existing architectures to meet changing client needs
- 2+ years of experience with the application of network design methodologies and network architecture principles
- 2+ years of experience deploying, upgrading, configuring, and troubleshooting multivendor network equipment and solutions
- Experience with classified networks
- Knowledge of access controls, network security, and communication and routing protocols
- Ability to analyze, recommend, and design new or improved operational capabilities across the enterprise network topology
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in an IT field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with network accreditation and security compliance processes
- Knowledge of virtualization and storage technologies, including VMware, EMC, and NetApp
- Knowledge of integrating traditional on-prem network setups or service with cloud-based solutions
- Ability to assist in all aspects of network management, from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing systems
- Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions that are standards-based and cost-efficient
- Ability to lead and facilitate technical discussions with internal and external organizations
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
