DHCF Lead Solutions Architect

1. Develops understanding of client operational and technology challenges and identifies potential needs for subject matter expertise consultative support.

2. Responsible for designing and gaining approval on data architecture decisions, data modeling approaches, design standards, development tools and lifecycle practices.

3. Provides technical leadership for data warehousing and data architecture for business intelligence products and systems. Design, develop and upgrade databases, ETLs, schemas, automation of data quality rules, ER designs, naming conventions. optimized queries, and indexing.

4. Responsible to define, design and oversee implementation of MITA based standards and best practices for data modeling, describing data entities and relationships. master data. meta data, darn. quality, and data governance.

5. Translates and delivers actionable, high impact plans that improve data integration, data quality and data delivery in support of business initiatives.

6. Advice on the design and implementation of security standards.

7. Performs ongoing technical assessment of database environments for operational considerations including performance, capacity, redundancy, stability, and security. Partner with operational teams on implementations that address issues and proactively.

8. Partners with IT Operations on defining load balancing, clustering. mirroring, disaster recovery. data archiving, and backup policies and solutions.

9. Reviews technical work of other team members and participate in testing of the data design and data extracts/ transformations.

Develop data management practices for DHCF's self-service BI programs. Define practices for providing secure data access, lifecycle review of dashboards/reports, and define practices to ensure reporting tool performance
