Position Overview
The Senior Vice President of Program Integration will lead and unify the Foundation’s programmatic “engine room” to amplify our impact. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Programs, the SVP will oversee solutions strategy development and drive alignment across the Foundation’s global programmatic ecosystem. Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Cross-functional leadership and Collaboration:
Work closely with the EVP of Programs, to ensure alignment across all programmatic efforts. Mentor and develop team, to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and excellence. Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure programs are effectively supported by resource mobilization, learning and impact, and operational functions.
Lead the design and implementation of systems and processes to improve collaboration, transparency, and accountability across the Foundation’s teams.
Serve as an organizational leader, contributing to the overall growth and direction of the Foundation.
Solution Strategy Development:
Partner with the EVP of Programs and Program Teams to manage and support the development of a portfolio of promising solutions that benefit people and planet, which includes supporting the design and refining of strategies, and fostering the development, testing, and scaling of innovative solutions. Manage the Scale Grant Fund application and board approval process for greenlit solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards. Lead the semi-annual Portfolio Review process, and partner with Strategic Learning & Impact to create the data clarity, analysis and reporting to inform decision-making and measure impact. Additionally, serve as the steward of the Operating Model, driving its continuous improvement through iteration, updates, and alignment with organizational priorities.
Program Administration:
Partner with the EVP of Programs, her direct reports and the Operations Teams to build a culture of programmatic connectedness and excellence. This includes leading Program Team All-Hands meetings, managing Program Leadership Team agendas, coordinating between Operations and Programs to ensure seamless information flow, particularly around budgeting. Additionally, ensure compliance with the overall goal-setting process, support HR with hiring and onboarding of Program individuals – ensuring alignment and collaboration across the ecosystem.
Resource Mobilization and Partnerships:
Oversee the Foundation’s resource mobilization efforts to secure funding and build strategic partnerships that advance its priorities. Foster a culture of collaborative philanthropy that expands the Foundation’s reach and influence. By supporting thoughtful solution strategy development, enable the Program Teams to partner with others to design and implement impactful funding models that capitalize on the Foundation’s strengths in grantmaking and innovative finance. Work closely with the Foundation’s “partners in impact,” including grantees, co-funders, contractors, and the Advisory Council, to build networks and alliances, mobilize resources, and achieve shared goals.

- Experienced in managing budgets and aligning financial resources with strategic priorities.
- Clear and effective communicator – both writing and speaking.
- Ideally previous experience working in or with large philanthropic foundations or large nonprofits.
- Bachelors required; Masters preferred.
