Job Description:
Pay Range: $51hr - $56hr
Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy aligned with project goals, including test coverage, automation frameworks, and tool selection.
  • Identify areas for automation within the software application and develop test plans to achieve optimal coverage.
  • Design and develop reusable test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. (Playwright framework experience will be added advantage).
  • Select and integrate appropriate automation tools for web, mobile, API, and other testing needs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of test automation engineers, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and fostering skill development.
  • Manage team performance and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to create robust automated test cases covering different scenarios and functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing, performance testing, and functional testing.
  • Monitor test execution and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Identify, log, and prioritize defects effectively using defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve identified defects promptly.
  • Generate comprehensive test reports with detailed metrics on test coverage, execution time, and defect trends.
  • Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and optimize automation strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in various test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript for test script development.
  • Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of test.
