As a Logistics Specialist, your role will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency and ensuring superior service for both internal and external customers. Your efforts will be focused on optimizing revenue generation and maintaining cost-saving goals for our customers, all while providing top-notch customer service to both carriers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Managed Transportation Services (MTS):

  • Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to meet both customer and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with business analytics teams to drive continuous improvements in the client’s supply chain.
  • Deliver operational excellence in all interactions with customers, carriers, and suppliers.
  • Input shipment data accurately and with a focus on quality.
  • Provide carriers with timely and precise shipment updates.
  • Audit load details for correctness and completeness.
  • Respond to customer, carrier, and supplier requests swiftly and efficiently.
  • Maintain both internal and external revenue and savings targets.
  • Coordinate inbound materials to ensure proper delivery to the correct receiving location (truckload, LTL, and import containers).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of transportation modes, including LTL, truckload, rail, and drayage.
  • Effectively communicate load plans, updates, and changes with customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client issue resolution and escalation.
  • On-site presence required five days a week.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 5+ years of logistics & supply chain experience
  • Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
  • MUST be comfortable onsite 5 days a week
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and strong internet skills
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $60k-75k
  • Unlimited PTO
