We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & PR Coordinator to join our client's growing marketing team. You will collaborate directly with the Director of Marketing and play a pivotal role in driving public relations and marketing initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Actively pursue media opportunities and cultivate meaningful relationships with journalists and outlets.
- Create engaging media materials, including press releases, pitches, bylines, speaker abstracts, award entries, campaign strategies, and briefing documents.
- Produce and refine content across various channels such as email campaigns, blog posts, newsletters, and marketing briefs.
- Plan and implement social media strategies, with an emphasis on growing presence and engagement on LinkedIn.
- Manage logistics for events, speaker appearances, and award submissions from planning through execution.
- Track media hits, evaluate results using key metrics, and update media tracking tools regularly.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and media coverage that could impact or benefit the organization.
- Assist in preparing campaign debriefs and detailed performance analysis reports.
- Engage in creative ideation and brainstorming sessions to support future campaigns and strategic projects.
- Maintain a unified brand voice across all written, digital, and visual communications.
- Create visual assets and written content for both internal use and external communications.
- Design customized materials to support investor relations, business development, and acquisition teams.
- Help drive key performance outcomes including press coverage, social engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
Who You Are:
• 2-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in PR tools such as PR Newswire, Google News Alerts, and MS Office Suite.
• Experience in digital marketing, including:
o Email marketing campaigns (preferably Salesforce/Pardot).
o Coordinating digital advertising initiatives.
o Social media strategy and content creation.
o Website content coordination.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing best practices.
• Experience proposing creative social media content, engaging influencers, and managing digital presence.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO principles, and basic SEM coordination (preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Trello.
