We are currently seeking a full-time Field Supervisor in the Pecos, TX region. Reporting directly to the San Angelo Terminal Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting company operations by overseeing drivers while at customer sites and ensuring procedures are being adhered to. This role will also provide training and support for company drivers and participation in safety investigations.

We are currently seeking a full-time Field Supervisor in the Pecos, TX region. Reporting directly to the San Angelo Terminal Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting company operations by overseeing drivers while at customer sites and ensuring procedures are being adhered to. This role will also provide training and support for company drivers and participation in safety investigations.
Job Duties
- Spot check quality of deliveries (on-time, incident free, safely completed)
- Observe and counsel drivers at job sites on safety procedures, including the proper use of cones, backing up procedures, and truck positioning
- Provide field level technical support and training
- Counsel drivers on customer complaints and advise drivers on corrective measures
- Evaluate new drivers during driving test and makes additional training
- Resolve on-site operational issues with Caron USA drivers
- Complete audits of driver pre and post trip inspections as well as equipment cleanliness
- Acting as a liaison with customers as required
- Managing customer relations including site visitations when required
- Participate in incident investigations to determine the root cause of incidents
- Complete audits to ensure drivers meet safety training requirements for customer sites
- Conduct worksite observations and hazard analysis of customer sites
- All other duties as assigned

- Valid Class A CDL w/ HAZMAT endorsement
- 2-5 years driving experience
- 1-2 years supervisory experience
- Diploma, Certificate or Journeyman, ticket in related field
- Previous mechanical experience considered an asset
- Clean driving record
- Proficiency with computer and related software applications
- Willingness to travel. NOTE: A high percentage of travel time will be required for this position, primarily in and throughout the Western Texas and lower New Mexico regions, but candidate will be based in the Pecos/Odessa, TX area.
