Job Summary

The Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the appointment and onboarding of new employees for State and Research Foundation positions.

  • Will be responsible for creating new hire paperwork, coordinating pre-hire activities and ensuring all pre-employment requisites are completed.
  • This position deals with confidential/sensitive information associated with applicant and employee activity to include criminal background investigations and degree verifications.
  • This position is the main liaison between candidates and hiring managers during the onboarding process.
  • Will guide new hires through the onboarding process while acting as a resource for any questions they may have.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field and a minimum of two years professional experience required. Requires use of independent judgment on a daily basis and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, timely and with accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous human resources experience in a healthcare or higher education setting strongly preferred.
