Software Engineer (Java)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Java to join engineering team of a leading video streaming company. This role offers the opportunity to build high-performance, scalable systems and drive innovative solutions that empower millions of users.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy robust backend solutions using Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to build new features.
• Implement and maintain scalable APIs, backend services, and microservices architectures.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure software quality through automated testing.
• Optimize application performance and scalability to meet business needs.
• Integrate systems with DevOps pipelines for CI/CD automation.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred):
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with performance optimization and scalability techniques.
• Understanding of DevOps best practices and application monitoring.
