  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description

We re seeking a skilled Network Design & Architecture Engineer to support the implementation of resilient underground network infrastructure. This role will focus on LAN/WAN design, wireless technologies, and fiber optics to support a complex onsite project in Salt Lake City.

What You ll Do:

  • Architect IP-based underground network systems, including LAN/WAN, mesh, and RF
  • Design and deploy Wi-Fi, LTE, and radio communications in challenging underground environments
  • Install, splice, and test fiber optic cables to ensure high-speed and high-integrity data transmission
  • Support low-voltage systems, power backup planning, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Implement VPNs, firewalls, encryption, and authentication protocols
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark

What You ll Bring:

  • 5 8 years of experience in network engineering
  • Strong understanding of underground network challenges and RF/Wi-Fi/LTE deployment
  • Hands-on experience with fiber optic installations and low-voltage systems
  • Familiarity with security protocols and network monitoring tools
  • Degree in Electrical/Network Engineering or relevant field (or equivalent experience)
