Job Description:

As a UX/UI Designer, you will shape and implement product design strategy for our journal websites.

You will focus on understanding customer needs, creative problem-solving, and data-driven analysis. In this role, you will be collaborating with Product, UX and Engineering daily on UI/UX designs, site flow, strategy and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing market trends and industry activities to inform design decisions.
  • Identifying and analyzing problems, and proposing innovative solutions in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Crafting user-centric experiences through the definition of user experience concepts, in collaboration with UX designers, UX developers and Product.
  • Utilizing data to establish key metrics, exploring analytics for insights, and iterating research methods based on testing and analysis.
  • Communicating effectively, and building positive relationships within the various teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Have a portfolio that demonstrates design experience covering User Experience (UX), and User Interface Design (UI)
  • Have a deep understanding of customer-centric design principles.
  • Possess proficiency in design software such as FIGMA and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative solutions.
  • A strong understanding of accessibility standards.
  • Be able to proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Have solid presentations skills and ability to communicate your work cross-teams.

Top 3 must have skills:

  • Strong UX/UI design skills (Use of FIGMA)
  • Collaboration with UX, Product and development teams
  • Strong communication skills, able to present work.
