Job Title: Business Systems Analyst I
Location: Hybrid Role (Onsite required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Business Systems Analyst I, where you'll play a crucial role in defining, documenting, and aligning business requirements with technical solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document user requirements in alignment with business objectives, translating these into clear, logical documentation for both business and IT stakeholders.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, guiding the development of systems that meet customer needs.
- Support accurate solution deployment by reviewing problem logs, assisting with test plans and matrices, and participating in testing and validation efforts.
- Evaluate the business need for solutions to improve business processes or solve problems.
- Serve as the primary resource for defining and documenting system business requirements for our client's project.
- Conduct research and analysis to support process improvements, system enhancements, and problem resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or 4 years of directly related work experience, or Associate s degree plus 2 years of directly related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of IT Business Analysis experience.
- Strong experience in eliciting, documenting, and translating requirements.
- Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Azure Boards for task and requirement tracking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision and adaptable to high-demand, fast-paced environments.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple high-priority tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with government business, BCBS companies, or healthcare systems.
- Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), HIPAA, or LOMA.
