Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare legal documents and correspondence with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for complex and sensitive cases, ensuring all necessary materials are collected and deadlines are met.
  • Communicate effectively with courts, clients, and other law firms to facilitate efficient case management.
  • Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Manage multiple cases independently while working cohesively with the legal team.
  • Handle phone lines and convey messages and critical information accurately.
  • Utilize legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case preparation.
  • Proficiently perform e-filing and understand Nevada State and Federal filing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm. (Salary based upon experience level.)
  • Strong legal writing skills and familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
  • Exceptional administrative and organizational abilities.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to maintaining accuracy in all work.
  • Excellent professional and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook), Adobe, and legal research tools.
