Job Details

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the core development of a platform designed to help users evaluate and iterate on their AI models more effectively
• Build and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure to support end-to-end workflows across the AI lifecycle
• Implement and support data pipelines developed across cross-functional teams
• Design and deliver tools that assess model performance and data quality at various stages of the AI stack
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in Go and Python, with occasional frontend contributions using React
• Collaborate with product and research teams to bring technical insights into production environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record of backend-focused development
• Prior experience building AI-related products, either independently or at a product-driven company
• Exposure to health tech or life sciences domains is a strong advantage
• Solid grasp of Kubernetes and major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
• Proficiency in database technologies like Postgres and MongoDB
• Experience with data streaming and processing tools such as Kinesis, Flink, or Spark
• Familiarity with indexing and caching layers including ElasticSearch and Redis
• Experience using data query tools such as Trino, Presto, or Snowflake
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and modern software development principles
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native infrastructure
• Preference for engineers who've spent time at AI-first startups or within elite teams at major tech companies, solving high-complexity challenges
