Position Title Director of Residential Life Department Housing Position Category Staff Full Time Job Description

The Director of Residence Life shall be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the holistic development of residential students at Lincoln Memorial University. The Director of Residence Life will perform functions related to areas of the residential experience including serving residential students and overseeing the development and implementation of the residential curriculum and programming within the residence halls. The Director of Residence Life will oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of all undergraduate and graduate Resident Assistants and maintain oversight of the supervision and evaluation of undergraduate Resident Assistants and Greaduate Housing Coordinators. Lastly, the Director of Residential Housing will serve in the residential on-call rotation along with other professional staff members within the Division of Student Services. Due to the live-on nature of the position, an on-campus apartment and meal plan are included in this positions compensation package.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, Human Services, Social Work, or related field and a minimum of two years undergraduate student leadership experience related to Student Services or Residence Life.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree in College Student Affairs, Education, Counseling, Human Services, Social Work, or related field. Supervisory experience with undergraduate or graduate students; and a minimum of two years professional experience working within Student Services or Residence Life.
