The Opportunity

The Director of eCommerce is a key business leader who is accountable for developing the strategy and executing the plan to build a best-in-class eCommerce experience at Rodan + Fields – ultimately transforming our site and driving growth through better content, a better user experience, and better conversion. She/he is an individual who will work with teams across the organization including Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Creative, Field Sales, and Finance to implement eCommerce initiatives and priorities. Finally, this role will be responsible for managing and executing broader business-driven site updates for key campaigns and launches across all of R+F’s global domains.

Responsibilities

  • Build a best-in-class eCommerce experience for current and future users of RF.com
  • Own the overall site strategy, execution, and performance, including defining, measuring and reviewing site analytics relative to performance goals and objectives and lead changes for improvement. Continually evaluate and identify new avenues for improvement.
  • Responsible for site KPIs including but not limited to Bounce Rates, Add to Cart, and Conversion
  • Lead team of Web Merchandising, Web Ops, partnering with the broader Digital team to deliver on conversion goals
  • Lead site design and merchandise pagination to drive user engagement and conversion
  • Oversee concept development, planning, implementation and coordination of eCommerce initiatives
  • Champion a culture of “test-learn-refine-repeat” within the team and across the broader organization to maximize not only site performance, but also user experience
  • Manage web production cadence and execution for all campaigns, promotions, and other website updates, working closely with Product Marketing and Creative teams
  • Work closely with the Digital Product Management, Engineering and UX teams, ensuring all site enhancements are properly set-up, scheduled and QA'd on site prior to launch
  • Coordinate with SEO lead to ensure SEO input – both technical and content-driven – is incorporated into the website
  • Define and execute principles for localization of global websites, both at launch and ongoing
  • As part of the eCommerce leadership team, serve as the primary contact for all website functions within the commercial team.
  • Partner with the Media to improve funnel throughput for improving ROI of Digital Media
