Alo Yoga Product Development Associate

The Product Development Department is looking for a dedicated, driven, and inspired individual to join the Alo family. The responsibility of this individual will be to manage the development of their styles, from inception to completion of the line. The ideal candidate will have an apparel education and background, with an understanding of textiles and working knowledge of PLM. This is a fast-paced environment, the ability to multitask, creatively problem solve, and work under tight deadlines on a daily basis is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development of product from design through production for assigned categories
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of construction, material and product creation
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently and react quickly to changes, while adhering to calendar deadlines
  • Assist Product Development Managers
  • Maintain PLM system General Style page, BOM (Bill Of Material) and Cost Sheets
  • Maintain seasonal development WIPs
  • Analyze costing data and reporting to ensure margin goals are met
  • Work with Manager on style-level vendor allocation and costing
  • Work with on-site PLM Developers on system advancements
  • Close working relationship with Design, Tech Design, Raw Materials, Production, Color teams
  • Attend fit sessions

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must have 2-5 years of experience in the apparel industry
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with appropriate sense of urgency
  • Commitment and superior attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment, build trust and relationships with vendor & company staff
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Thorough understanding of testing protocol, product integrity requirements, product cycle timeline and garment construction
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work environment
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Proficiency with PLM

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
