Job Details
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our team! This exciting role will involve using your technical skills to facilitate the development and implementation testing procedures. This role demands a high level of technical expertise and if you are a problem solver with a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Test fixture specification, design, build, automation, repair, maintenance, and improvement.
2. Utilize test stand automation (plc, pneumatic, LabView) to facilitate effective testing procedures.
3. Implement and maintain a calibration schedule for lab equipment.
4. Design, improve, and execute tests to qualify new and existing components for product improvement, cost reduction, and/or regulatory compliance
5. Participate in DFMEA with an emphasis on repeatability and reliability (R&R) statistical analysis.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering - mechanical, chemical, or electrical preferred.
2. 5+ years of experience in a product testing lab environment, ideally with electro-mechanical products.
3. Proficiency in test stand automation (preferred).
4. Knowledge of DFMEA and gage R&R studies.
5. Deep understanding of data acquisition (DAQ) technology and methods (preferred).
6. Ability to use and code in MatLab or equivalent software for complex, customized data analysis (preferred).
7. Experience in script generation in MatLab, Python, R, or equivalent software with emphasis on R&R statistics (preferred).
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
9. Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
