Job Summary:
  • The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for conducting full lifecycle analysis—including requirements gathering, design, documentation, testing, and validation—to support the implementation of BI analytics solutions for regional or system partners.

    • Design, develop, and maintain complex reports and dashboards.
    • Perform data mining using advanced SQL or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Database & SQL Development:
    • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
    • Work with OLTP, OLAP, and MPP database environments.
  • Collaboration & Problem-Solving:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.
    • Recommend and implement efficient technical solutions that balance cost, time, and performance.
  • Documentation & Standards:
    • Ensure adherence to development, testing, and support standards.
    • Maintain clear documentation of report specifications, logic, and processes.
Required Competencies:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced SQL proficiency (complex joins, stored procedures, query optimization).
    • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, etc.).
    • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (ETL, star schema, dimensional modeling).
  • Analytical Abilities:
    • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Demonstrates competencies as a Leader of Self (ownership, initiative) and Leader of Others (mentorship, teamwork).
    • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in BI, data analysis, or related roles.
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
