In this role, you’ll help keep our day-to-day accounting operations running smoothly, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability in everything you do. Responsibilities
- Is proactive in working with the client service team to ensure that client billings are current and accurately processed
- Ensures that vendor and freelancer invoices are current and accurately processed
- Performs routine bank and credit card reconciliations
- Establishes and nurtures strong internal and external relationships with timely, proactive communication and follow-up
- Maintains internal accounting and financial systems and processes
- Maintains accounting files and documentation and protects the confidentiality of financial information
- May manage and maintain all aspects of payroll and benefits systems and processes, ensuring compliance and that payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner
- Continually grows accounting expertise and knowledge, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Supports CFO with reporting and analysis, and on department initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years in an accounting role required, preferably within an advertising agency or film production company
- Experience working in Quickbook Online required
- Tech savvy and comfortable using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Proactive, reliable, and analytical with significant attention to detail
- Ability to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
- Collaborative, flexible and a good team player
