Data Analysis & Visualization
- Analyze revenue streams to identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI and Excel to present financial trends.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for city initiatives and projects.
- Build financial models to support multi-year forecasting and city initiatives.
- Evaluate the long-term fiscal sustainability of ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Provide recommendations based on financial trends and economic conditions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify actionable insights.
- Collaborate with departments to enhance financial reporting and planning.
- Provide project management support on BSG projects and initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field;
- Two (2) or more years of professional experience in revenue collection, financial analysis, or related areas (a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered);
- Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills;
- Experience with financial trend analysis and projections is highly preferred;
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI, PL-300 or similar certification highly preferred;
- Strong communication skills to present complex financial data to non-technical stakeholders;
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively;
- In-person attendance is required; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
- Experience with government finance or public sector budgeting;
- Knowledge of financial management systems or ERP software;
- Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar certification is a plus.
