Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop automated reports and KPI dashboards depicting KPIs and controls for measuring, analyzing, and reporting on inventory levels, inventory control, equipment/small tools and space optimization.
  • Ensure minimum service levels are met or exceeded in relation to material storage and movement and recommendations for process improvements are provided to senior leaders.
  • Recommend and implement technology solutions to optimize material management and equipment/small tools.
  • Drive inventory management and compliance to ensure transactional integrity is maintained, timelines are achieved, and documentation is right first time from warehouse staff.
  • Takes a lead role in facilitating discussions and resolving conflicts between various stakeholders in existing processes.
  • Track excess project material and facilitate redeployment to other projects, ensuring accuracy of information shared with Project and Construction Managers.
  • Work with Purchasing Manager and Field Production staff on Supplier Scorecard KPIs providing information on On-Time deliveries and condition of materials received at all locations.
  • Develop inventory stocking plans for most commonly purchased materials, tools and equipment for all seven locations across Florida to maximize efficiency of field and service organization.
  • Coach and provide training, direction, and support of all team members.
  • Manage, plan and coordinate the destruction of obsolete materials.
  • Coordinates and executes quarterly inventory physical counts in conjunction with finance and purchasing department, implementing best practices and ensuring timely resolution of count discrepancies.
  • Evaluate viability and implementation of cycle count program to replace quarterly inventory count procedures.

Skills, Experience, And Knowledge Required

Education

  • Associate’s degree Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management Preferred

Experience

  • Proficiency in utilizing available technology including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • 5+ years’ work experience with data analysis tools (i.e. SQL, Advanced Excel, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Power BI or equivalent) required
  • 7 to 10 Years previous leadership experience required
  • 10 years of warehouse management experience
  • Experience in Construction Industry highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or other efficiency/management techniques such as lean principles required

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug
