Social Media Content Assistant
We’re looking for someone to ideate, organize, and help execute social-first content across all MENACE platforms. We’re a Los Angeles-based streetwear brand rooted in fashion, culture, and storytelling — and this role is focused purely on social media. You’ll be planning and producing shortform content that’s fast, raw, and culturally tapped in. Think TikTok, Reels, carousels, Shorts. This is about building community and relevance through consistent, creative storytelling that reflects who we are.
Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm shortform content ideas for IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X
- Build and manage weekly/monthly content calendars based on drops, cultural relevance, and platform trends
- Pitch and plan daily storytelling formats — reels, memes, interviews, sound trends, behind-the-scenes, fit breakdowns, etc.
- Create reference decks or moodboards to help guide production
- Collaborate with our internal team and outside creatives to bring content to life
- Be plugged into niche communities and subcultures that overlap with MENACE (music, style, underground sports, graffiti, etc.)
- Stay sharp on trends, know what works natively on each platform, and keep your finger on the pulse of streetwear and cultural conversations

- You know how to turn a cultural moment into a content opportunity
- You get the difference between a viral format and a story with staying power
- Organized, reliable, creative, and able to take ideas from brainstorm to execution
- Bonus if you can shoot, edit, or mock up ideas yourself
- Even better if you’ve run or helped grow a culturally relevant page or account
