As a Business Development Manager at Flix, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with our bus operator partners, ensuring long-term success, and identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion. About The Role

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and secure new partnerships with intercity bus operators and other relevant stakeholders to expand Flix's presence in the US East region
  • Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners, ensuring mutual growth and profitability
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes, informing strategic decisions
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Network Planning, Operations, Finance, and Marketing, to ensure cohesive strategy execution
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze and optimize partner performance using data-driven insights, collaborating with internal teams to adjust network strategy and maximize profitability
  • Brand Representation: Serve as a Flix ambassador at industry events, conferences, and meetings, enhancing brand visibility and credibility

About You

  • Experience: 3–5 years in business development, sales, account management, or strategic roles, preferably within the transportation, technology, or consulting sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Communications or a related field
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities, strong negotiation skills, excellent communication skills,proficiency in data-driven decision-making and capable of building strong relationships with various types of companies and stakeholders
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
  • Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously to achieve ambitious targets
  • Travel: Willingness to travel, about 20% of time
  • Hybrid Work: We work out of our NYC (Midtown Manhattan) office 2-3 days per week
