Description
Our client is consistently innovating, capacity planning, and deploying new technologies to maximize the range and level of service they provide to their customers. With their continued initiatives and just overall amount of connected devices per capita, the need to improve bandwidth and capacity is constantly there. In order to keep up with the high demand, they have to ensure they drive cohesion and consistency across all the various internal/external teams involved in the build lifecycle.
Currently they need support across multiple business units, but the current focus is on the RF Team. Design/Engineering is a main portion of any build lifecycle and can be associated to various technologies such as Transport, Equipment, Capacity, RF, etc. These needs fall under the RF (Radio Frequency) Engineering team and are specifically aligned to "Systems Performance". The Systems Performance team works in cohesion with RF Performance Engineering Teams and RF Design Teams.
The Systems Performance team is in charge of performing proactive capacity planning by analyzing various data analytics/statistics across multiple tools/platforms for their network. They need to analyze for gaps, challenges, or any problems that can be preidentified through alarms/tools, but also searching for opportunities to optimize the network for future roadmap plans.
The Systems Performance RF Engineer should be very familiar with all of the parameters that should be analyzed for RF such as antenna tilts, power distribution, handover parameters, etc. They can gather this information/analytics using various tools. Our client uses drive testing data and many other softwares/tools to gather this information. Need to be able to take drive test data and process it. The Engineer should also have an understanding of RF design software such as ATOLL.
