Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure.
Conduct research and development to explore new technologies and methodologies.
Build prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions.
Design and implement APIs for data access and integration.
Develop and maintain data management solutions, including data catalogs, data lineage, and data quality.
Create dynamic, data-driven web applications using Angular, JavaScript, and D3.
Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
Ensure data privacy and security compliance.
Required Skills:
Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and Java Spring Boot.
Big Data Technologies: Experience with Apache Spark.
Web Development: Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, and D3.
Data Stores: Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB), and big data environments (e.g., Hadoop).
Data Management: Understanding of data catalogs, data lineage, and data quality.
API Design: Experience in designing and implementing APIs.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j).
Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.
Experience with data privacy and information security practices.

Pay and Benefits
