Who we are
VOICES for CASA Children is a 501(c)(3) organization that brings a voice to Arizona’s children by promoting and supporting volunteer advocacy for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, and public awareness of the importance of safe and permanent homes for all children. VOICES supports CASA of Maricopa County and is an affiliate of the National CASA Association.
We are dedicated to supporting Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers every step of the way to help create a meaningful connection and build trust with the youth each CASA Volunteer serves. Our key programs include ongoing education classes, child enrichment activities, child welfare advocacy & outcomes, community outreach, CASA recruitment & retention, and other vital resources.

To support our mission, VOICES is actively seeking a team member to build community perception, awareness, and engagement through carefully planned marketing, media, and public relations communications. This position seeks to increase awareness to actively recruit new CASA volunteers in Maricopa County.
The ideal candidate is passionate about child welfare advocacy, is proficient in marketing, public relations, social media and graphic design media technologies. This position will explore new and creative ideas, relevant to today’s environment, to encourage and grow CASA’s (Court Appointed Special Advocate) base of volunteers and strengthen the VOICES brand.
This full-time position provides flexibility for working both remotely as well as onsite. Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a full time position reporting to the Executive Director, with support staff to supervise, and volunteers/interns to manage.

Job Description
Key duties include:
- Marketing & Digital Communications: Evaluate and continually refine digital marketing presence to increase VOICES visibility, heighten user engagement, and ensure maximum effectiveness. Continue to build community perception, awareness, and engagement through carefully planned events, campaigns, and public relations communications. Continually evaluate social and environmental markers and recommend risk mitigation when needed. Prepare an annual marketing plan which includes a social media strategy, print materials, media, events, and communications. Set marketing budget.
- Awareness & Recruitment: Explore new and creative ideas, relevant to today’s environment, to encourage and grow CASA’s (Court Appointed Special Advocate) base of volunteers. Work collaboratively with VOICES’ partners, including CASA of Maricopa County and CASA of Arizona, to coordinate shared CASA recruitment activities.
- Performance Management & Reporting: Ensure marketing and recruitment data is entered, maintained and reported on using appropriate systems, including engagement, satisfaction, output measures and other metrics.
- Coordination & Integration with Other Programs: Coordinating with other VOICES staff, agencies and organizations on marketing and outreach planning, delivery and alignment with related programs, goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience of 5+ years marketing, communications and digital media development.
- Experience with developing marketing strategy and monitoring outcomes.
- Proficiency and use of graphic design, social media, and digital marketing tools.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of child welfare, including unique needs and issues faced by children living in foster care is beneficial. Strong ability to create marketing scripts that are culturally sensitive to the environment and on-brand.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills
