  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

POSITION: SENIOR-LEVEL LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

(CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD)

Claxton Logistics Services LLC, a leader in the training and education and logistics community, is looking for a qualified and highly motivated Senior-Level Logistics Specialist to join our team. This is a part-time position.

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will be a professional who shall provide continuous logistical support to the government client and Program Management team. Additionally, candidates must have a Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.

Duties include:
  • Execute their support in compliance with DoDI 5000.02, SECNAVINST 5000.2A, Marine Corps Order P5215.17C, and MIL-PRF-32216, Evaluation of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Manuals and Supplemental Data
  • Support the drafting and submission of Safety Releases prior to test, deployment, and training events for the program
  • Assist the Government in developing and maintaining an integrated master schedule for program execution
  • Assist with the development and maintain currency of Government Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs) in support of program activities. This effort shall include briefing the IMS files as required on IMS status, baseline variances, critical / driving paths, and future schedule forecasts
  • Develop IMS reports including 30-60-90-day outlooks, variance reports, past-due task reports, and schedule milestone snapshots to include monthly updates and in developing ad-hoc schedules for individual projects as necessary

Preferred Education/Experience/Qualification:
  • A Senior Logistics Specialist has over eight years of experience as well as a Bachelor's/Master's degree.
  • This position typically works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
  • The Senior labor category may oversee the less senior staff and be responsible for all staff assigned to a specific job

Security Clearance Requirement:

This position requires a current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance.

This position is onsite aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico VA. 22134

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a Part-time position. Telework is not optional.
