Summary

Responsible for researching, analyzing, planning, educating, implementing, communicating, and evaluating performance improvement projects that support the perioperative quality and safety plan. This person demonstrates proficiency with performance improvement and research methodology, data analysis, and the presentation of data to all organizational stakeholders. This position will assist leadership and operational management with the planning and implementation of ongoing process improvement initiatives. Partners with Parkview Research to identify potential research projects focused on achieving desires outcomes for improved patient health and outcomes. Develops, plans, and coordinates education to staff in order to close action planning. Manages data registry for surgical patients and meeting coordination optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license required. Advanced certifications in nursing, healthcare quality, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience required. Prefer experience with projects, performance improvement, and data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required in order to provide advice and counsel in situations requiring judgment, timing, and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of others.
  • Must have good data management skills, attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task, handle multiple stressors, work under time constraints, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be flexible with work schedule.
  • A moderate level of analytical ability is required.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred.
