Role Overview
We’re hiring a Product-Focused Engagement Manager to lead a first-time consulting engagement for a leading retail client, driving the delivery of a high-visibility reporting transformation MVP. This is a critical onsite role based in the Bay Area, requiring hands-on product experience and strong stakeholder relationship skills.
You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for the client, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and our offshore delivery team to translate product goals into executable roadmaps, while also identifying future opportunities for expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a reporting transformation MVP, focused on enabling automated insights through analytics products.
- Translate business objectives into structured product and platform roadmaps.
- Serve as the primary onsite engagement lead and liaison to client stakeholders.
- Build, nurture, and own senior-level relationships within the client organization.
- Collaborate with a 10–15 member India-based delivery team to ensure successful execution.
- Identify new growth areas and contribute to expanding the client relationship.
- Act as a trusted thought partner, guiding the client through transformation and change.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in consulting, product/platform leadership, or client delivery roles.
- Hands-on experience managing or owning product development or platform strategy.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Experience working with retail, apparel, or CPG clients (preferred).
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools, automated reporting systems, or generative AI solutions.
- Proven ability to manage global cross-functional teams and operate independently onsite.
