Job Summary

To oversee the day-to-day operations of the Pleasure Island RV Parks I and II, providing effective and efficient service to residents and guests. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional management skills, strong customer service abilities, and a basic knowledge of point-of-sale transactions.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED

Receives directions from the Director of Pleasure Island.

Responsibilities

EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES -Essential and other important duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Oversee the operation and maintenance of the Pleasure Island RV Parks, ensuring that they operate safely and efficiently.

Ensure that all services and amenities, including utilities, laundry facilities, and waste disposal, are provided to guests in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of park grounds, common areas, and RV spaces.

Provide excellent customer service to guests by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction.

Maintain good communication with RV guests, providing information about local attractions, park amenities, and regulations.

Handle rental payments, deposits, and financial reporting.

Maintain accurate records of guest stays, park inspections, maintenance work, and regulatory compliance.

Maintain records of accomplished work and prepare reports.

Ensure that all safety regulations and city policies and procedures are adhered to; verify setup of safety barriers and barricades as necessary.

Requisition of necessary supplies and materials.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge of:

Tyler Cashiering Software (preferred)

Proper public contact and telephone etiquette.

Essential record-keeping and report preparation techniques.

Pertinent Federal, State and local codes, regulations and laws.

Principles, practices and methods of Pleasure Island administration, organization and operations.

Safe work practices.

Ability To

Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for:

  • making observations
  • reading and writing
  • operating assigned equipment
  • communicating with others.

Maintain Mental Capacity Which Allows The Capability Of

  • making sound decisions
  • prioritizing projects
  • using computer equipment
  • demonstrating intellectual capabilities.

Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:

  • walking, kneeling, stooping, standing or sitting for extended periods
  • elevating and moving heavy equipment and materials
  • operating assigned equipment.

Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Experience And Training Guidelines

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain knowledge and abilities would be:

Experience

One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a point of sale or cashiering role.

Training

High school diploma or equivalent.
