JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant

DEPARTMENT: G&A

REPORTS TO: Controller; General Manager

FLSA: Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Controller and General Manager, in addition to assisting managers with new hire onboarding.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist managers with new hire onboarding and coordinate with outsourced HR and Payroll company
  • Ensure all new hires have all the required documentation for the position
  • Maintain employee files
  • Execute benefit packages for qualified staff
  • Review insurance billing for accuracy
  • Ensure employees receive their 90-day, 180-day and annual review
  • Listen to Board minutes and assemble Board Books
  • Assist Board Members with Nominating Committee deadlines
  • Worker’s Compensation
  • Process tablet sales from golf outings and events and post to GL
  • Order office supplies
  • Fill out credit applications for potential vendors and submit all documentation requested
  • Answer phones

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be willing to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be willing to work some weekends and some Holidays
  • Employee meal provided

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Fundamental HR knowledge preferred
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment to meet firm deadlines
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
