Position Overview

The Sr. Manager, HR will be responsible for leading a team of HR Business Partners in effective deployment of HR policies and programs. This role and its direct reports will act as consultants to all levels of the organization, serving as a business and employee advocate.

The Sr. Manager, HR will help drive change initiatives, performance, talent management and development, retention and engagement while providing coaching, guidance and mentorship to their direct reports to help them further develop their support of the business.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners, providing guidance and mentorship to help them achieve both individual and team goals.
  • Ensure HR Business Partners are equipped with the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed in their roles; advocating for the team and working to remove barriers hindering their work.
  • Partner with business leaders and senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance business performance; ensure planning and strategies for assigned organization tie into the broader functional team as well as across the enterprise.
  • Lead on complex HR issues, including organizational design, performance management, and talent development.
  • Plan and oversee the execution of HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and company values.
  • Serves as change management consultant to assigned organization, planning and deploying effective change management strategies, communications and training in support of organization change/transformation initiatives.
  • Lead workforce planning efforts for assigned organization, ensuring alignment with business needs and future growth strategies.
  • Partners with the Compensation team to provide insight and guidance to the business on compensation strategies, salary benchmarking, pay structures and equity analysis to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Partner with People Relations to guide the business on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of employees.
  • Provide coaching to leaders and employees on interpersonal interactions, performance management and employee engagement issues.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to develop recruitment strategy for assigned organization in order to attract and retain top talent.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify talent gaps and develop strategies for recruitment, retention, and employee development.
  • Develop and drive succession planning and leadership development for assigned organization in order to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Utilize HR analytics to assess trends, measure team performance, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Conducts market and organization analysis to identify trends and opportunities through review of turnover, performance ratings, exit interviews, diversity, etc.; translates data into meaningful recommendations for improving performance and productivity within assigned organization.
  • Advise leaders on compliance concerns and potential risk, while working with them to identify compliant solutions for their business objectives.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior leadership and influence business decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading projects and initiatives and being accountable for successful outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

The base pay range for this position is $109,300-$150,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
