At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. As the Maintenance Program Manager with the CPCCo, you will be an important part of the Maintenance team responsible for ensuring our workforce is able to safely and compliantly reduce risks on the Hanford site.

Primary duties of the Maintenance Program Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of the Nuclear Maintenance Management Program (NMMP) self-assessment schedule.
  • Ensure NMMP assessment schedule adheres to the Triennial requirements within DOE O 433.1B.
  • Subject Manner Expert(SME) and key Point of Contact for DOE NMMP oversight team.
  • Develop the strategy for NMMP program to comply with contractual requirements.
  • Technical Authority on a wide range and variety of key Maintenance Procedures affecting all CPCCo projects.
  • Technical Authority on the CPCCo Material & Test Equipment (M&TE)/ Calibration Programs.
  • Manage CPCCo Tool Cribs and Tool Crib Attendants (bargaining unit personnel).
  • Interact with management team regarding compliance within CPCCo Maintenance Programs.
  • Lead problem solving initiatives regarding CPCCo wide Maintenance Programs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Senior Grade 21: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Principal Grade 22: Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 12 or more years of relevant experience

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge of the NMMP and DOE O 433.1B
  • Knowledge in the role of Technical Authority over various procedures.
  • Experience in managing and oversight of bargaining unit personnel (HAMTC).
  • Proficiency performing self-assessments, audits, and surveillances.
  • Experience in supervising facility maintenance activities in complex industries.

Compensation & Benefits

In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):

  • Senior Level Grade 21: $142,038 - $179,113
  • Principal Level Grade 22: $159,363 - $209,688

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
