Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will be a professional who shall provide subject matter expertise for the Government in the development and maintenance of acquisition-related, statutory, and regulatory documentation, as required, to include, but not limited to Acquisition Strategy, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, and Transition Plan.
Duties include:
This position requires a current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Telework is not optional.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and occasional overnight travel may be expected.

Claxton Logistics Services LLC, a leader in the training and education and logistics community, is looking for a qualified and highly motivated Senior-Level Acquisition / Programmatic Specialist to join our team.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will be a professional who shall provide subject matter expertise for the Government in the development and maintenance of acquisition-related, statutory, and regulatory documentation, as required, to include, but not limited to Acquisition Strategy, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, and Transition Plan.
Duties include:
- Conduct document reviews as requested by the Government. The contractor’s review shall include, but is not limited to, grammar, technical, accounting, and engineering corrections. Any recommendations delivered to the Government developed from reviews are subject to approval or rejection by the Government. The contractor shall remediate any noted deficiencies or corrections as requested by the Government
- Coordinate with Program Management team from documentation inception through Program Manager approval to facilitate a prompt PM-level review and signature process. The contractor shall assist in the holistic documentation process and shall maintain electronic libraries as needed. The contractor shall support ad-hoc requests for information or documentation updates as necessary
- Ensure compliance with the DoD Acquisition Framework Process and the Defense Acquisition Guide, the DON Correspondence Manual SECNAV M-5216.5, Marine Corps Order 5216.20B, GPO Style Manual, the command Acquisition Guide, and established Quality and Style Guides
- Track and manage documents, letters, and memorandums developed within PM team throughout the review and signature process IAW USMC and command records management processes and procedures
- Update, administer, and provide regular tracking reports that provide statistics and metrics regarding the inception-to-grave document approval and processing within the PM team including, but not limited to, metrics on duration, completion, and staffing
- Compile comments into a single comment resolution matrix (CRM) and ensure document version control and adherence with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and the Program Managers document routing and signature staffing guides and workflow process
- Develop graphics and visual aids to support the presentation of the Program’s schedule to internal and external stakeholders, as necessary.
- Conduct an appropriate level of research to support the adjudication of reviewer comments and provide the resulting consolidated CRM for Government review and final adjudication
- A Senior Level specialist must have over eight years of experience as well as a Bachelor's/Master's degree.
- The Senior Level specialist typically works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
- The Senior l Level specialist may oversee the less senior staff and be responsible for all staff assigned to a specific job.
