Summary Of Responsibilities

The Program Manager will manage the administrative, instructional, and technical infrastructure of JOLT programming. This includes collaboration with the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors (AFMRD) Board of Directors and Just-In Time Opportunities for Leadership Training (JOLT) Academic Cabinet to ensure the program meets its objectives and provides high-quality leadership training for emerging leaders in academic family medicine.

Specific Aspects Include

Serves as the primary contact for JOLT Cabinet and JOLT Faculty. Support the development of learner and program evaluations and oversee the tracking of outcomes for JOLT. Create and coordinate marketing materials. Coordinate scheduling and agenda setting of JOLT development meetings with JOLT Working Group, JOLT Cabinet, JOLT Faculty, and JOLT learners as needed, including the in-person JOLT graduation/meeting.

Identify and aid in the selection and management of a Learning Management System (LMS). Serves as the primary contact for the LMS and train AFMRD staff, JOLT Cabinet, and JOLT Faculty on the LMS. Participate in the assessment and evaluation of the program’s effectiveness, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement. Prepare reports to ABFM Foundation.

Develop and implement strategies to effectively communicate with members through various channels, including social media. Create engaging content to foster community interaction and enhance member experience. Organize and promote events and opportunities that encourage active participation and strengthen member relationships.

Participate in bookkeeping and internal processes for weekly invoices and expenses. Process weekly transactions, travel vouchers for JOLT-related activities, payables and receivables, maintaining financial records, communicating with external accounting partners.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus at least 6-10 years of related work experience including previous experience in the successful development of large-scale projects. Expertise in the utilization and management of a Learning Management System. Strong strategic planning and organizational skills; excellent communication and collaboration skills; effective time management skills, problem solving abilities and the ability to multi-task. Familiarity with CME and GME desirable.
