This position collaborates on client facing communications and initiatives in support of Prime's Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid books of business ensuring specialty programs are delivered and managed successfully.
Responsibilities
Potential pay for this position ranges from $66,000.00 - $106,000.00 based on experience and skills.

Job Description
The Specialty Operations Consultant partners with clients to provide consultation, strategic and tactical planning, and analysis intended to drive the implementation of specialty programs and solutions. This position collaborates on client facing communications and initiatives in support of Prime's Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid books of business ensuring specialty programs are delivered and managed successfully.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary internal and client resource for specialty program support and implementations
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships and provide consultative services in conjunction with the Client Engagement team to support a client program that mirrors client strategic initiatives
- Gather data and conduct complex analysis, provide product recommendations, and guidance to retain current clients
- Manage implementation activities, to include developing, documenting, and maintaining key requirements and deliverables through project work plans; provide ongoing project status updates to stakeholders
- Support project and workstream activities for new Blue and large employer group specialty and mail implementations; Lead routine and/or existing client implementation efforts
- Negotiate satisfactory resolutions to escalated client issues and communicate between operations, vendors, and the client
- Support ongoing evaluation and maintenance of current processes, job aids and training for specialty products
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in business or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of client service experience in healthcare or insurance
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
- Well-developed organization, analytical, interpretative and time management skills
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects within strict timelines, under pressure
- Project management experience
- Previous Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience
- Proficiency using MS Office
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
