ABOUT

We are seeking a Prole Developer for our client's Retail Bank Technology team. This role requires the design, coding, and testing of software projects, with a special focus on the underlying architecture of systems and integration between them. Additionally, this individual is expected to lead projects and project teams, support junior developers and contribute to best practices. Duties include development in one or more of the following technologies: Mumps, Profile Scripting Language (PSL), SQL.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Development Team Leader and business owners to rene and clarify project requirements.
  • Work with the Development Team Leader to help manage tasks and stories.
  • Provide team leadership and proactively seek out areas for improvement.
  • Produce detailed design specications from project requirements.
  • Code projects using existing design standards and within accepted defect rate based on specication documents.
  • Help gather and provide input to assist in overall team process improvement and product design stability.
  • Properly track issues and resolutions in relation to the development effort using JIRA.
  • Ensure that all code retains logical stability, reliability, condentiality, and integrity of clients systems in accordance with clients policies, procedures and guidelines.

REQUIRED

  • 3-5+ years of professional experience developing on Prole application (MUMPS and PSL)
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing banking software (nancial products and nancial reporting features)
  • 2+ years of professional experience managing projects and teams
  • 2+ years of professional experience with system design and implementation
  • Bachelor's Degree

PREFERRED

  • 4+ years working on Windows desktop and server applications
  • 3+ years working with Prole Scripting Language (PSL)
  • 3+ years working in an Agile environment
