Job Description
We are seeking a System Test Engineer (SW) to join our client's dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite in Warren, NJ, playing a critical role in validating cutting-edge wireless technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute system-level radio verification for wireless communication systems.
Perform feature and regression testing in sync with agile sprint cycles.
Conduct integration testing for new product rollouts.
Troubleshoot performance issues and identify root causes.
Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve test processes.
Generate and document test plans, execution results, and reports.
Provide regular testing status updates to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's (minimum) or Master's (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Hands-on experience with RAN core network elements and user equipment configuration.
Proficiency with Linux and Windows OS configurations.
Experience working with RF lab equipment (network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
Strong understanding of LTE, 5G-NR, and relevant 3GPP standards.
Familiarity with network configurations (DHCP, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6).
Experience with tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Bitbucket.
Capable of running both manual and automated test cases.
Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
Knowledge of XML, RPC interfaces, and Open RAN (a plus).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment:
Onsite role must be able to work 5 days per week in Warren, NJ.
