Job Overview:

We are seeking a senior-level SAP SAC & IBP Planning Expert with strong cross-functional knowledge of financial and supply chain planning, able to integrate SAC Planning models with SAP CDS Views and SAP IBP. The role focuses on aligning operational and financial planning through real-time, analytics-driven decision-making platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end planning models in SAP SAC covering both Financial Planning (FP&A) and Supply Chain scenarios.
• Integrate and consume SAP CDS Views in SAC via live connections for accurate, real-time reporting and input-ready planning.
• Lead or support SAP IBP configuration and integration with SAC for unified planning scenarios (e.g., Demand-Supply-Financial alignment).
• Implement Data Actions, Multi-Actions, Advanced Formulas, and use SAC Calendar for collaborative planning cycles.
• Enhance or build CDS Views in S/4HANA or Datasphere with planning annotations and input readiness.
• Bridge planning across departments (Finance, Sales, SCM) for S&OP, Inventory Optimization, or Revenue Planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders for planning process transformation and digital adoption.
• Provide guidance on Data Modeling, Performance Optimization, and Governance across planning tools.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in SAP SAC Planning: financial models, forecasting, allocations, advanced scripting.
• Strong knowledge of SAP IBP modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, or Response Planning).
• Deep experience with CDS Views, including creation, extension, and analytical annotations for planning readiness.
• Hands-on with live connectivity in SAC (S/4HANA, HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere).
• Proficiency in business processes across Finance and Supply Chain.
• Experience in multi-version planning, forecast simulations, and driver-based modeling.

Experience:

• 10+ years in SAP ecosystem with at least:
• 3+ years in SAC Planning
• 2+ years in SAP IBP (Supply Chain or Demand Planning)
• Solid experience with CDS Views in S/4HANA

Preferred:

• SAP Certified in SAC Planning and/or SAP IBP.
• Domain experience in CPG, Retail, Manufacturing, or Pharma.
• Working knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SLT, and data replication techniques.
• Understanding of AI/ML forecasting features in SAC or IBP.
