Job Description
As a member of the DAVACO Field Logistics team your job will encompass different levels of responsibility that commands professionalism and confidentiality. Below is a partial list of responsibilities.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Retail Logistics Manager by completed day to day tasks.
- Review the upcoming projects report daily for project related travel needs. Work to submit all travel request two weeks prior to project start date.
- Review and approve travel itineraries. Submit travel request and changes through the approved venues.
- Communicate and confirm all approved travel itineraries to project crew, logistics manager and operations.
- Provide support with UPS shipments to field personnel for corporate cards, shirts, and business cards.
- Assist with creating and adjusting purchase orders.
- Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
- The ability to prioritize work, maintain a positive attitude and composure in stressful situations.
- Must be able to plan, execute and close out multiple projects or tasks in short periods of time to the satisfaction of the supervisor and/or client.
- Understand client’s needs and expectations to ensure the success of the project.
- Possess good analytical skills with strong attention to details to ensure material purchases are kept within budget; labor resources and product procured are at the most cost-effective terms.
- Outgoing and able to adapt to multiple industry environments and develop trust relationships between clients, business associates, vendor/partners, and management.
- Display excellent communication and organization skills with all levels of employees, subcontractors, outsource partner, and client representatives Motivated/pro-active mindset in an exciting and robust work environment.
- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills; be detailed oriented, articulate, and mature.
- Build lasting relationships with all team members and clients by acting with the highest level of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
- Develop trust and confidence through support, open and frequent communication, and understanding of all team members and client expectations.
- Motivated/pro-active mindset in an exciting and robust work environment.
- Adhere to company’s policies, as well as compliance with federal and state legislation laws.
- High School Education
- Logistics or Scheduling experience
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to Advanced experience with Excel
- Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
