POSITION: SENIOR-LEVEL CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST

(CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD)

Claxton Logistics Services LLC, a leader in the training and education and logistics community, is looking for a qualified and highly motivated Senior-Level Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team.

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will be a professional who shall provide subject matter expertise for the Government by developing and reviewing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Marine Corps Compliance and Authorization Support Tool (MCCAST) packages and documents (including but not limited to: RMF security controls, System Security Plans, boundary diagrams, Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) for the PM WGC solution to support DoD Information Technology as described by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-37 in accordance with DoDI 8510.01 and Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG).

Duties include:

  • Assist the Government by conducting Nessus and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans and providing support to the Government with review of Nessus and SCAP reports scan reports when required
  • Assist the Government by developing an Information System Continuous Monitoring Plan (ISCMP) that addresses the requirements for RMF continuous monitoring for systems which are part of the Program Managers portfolio. ISCMP will include examples of continuous monitoring artifacts
  • Provide technical advice concerning the security architecture and security engineering system specifications
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support the Government in the review for a cross-domain solution for data transfer between geographically dispersed Wargaming nodes and events between different classification levels
  • Provide Cybersecurity Integrated Product Team support through facilitating and attending stakeholder meetings (e.g., coordinating invitations and physical and/or virtual spaces), drafting presentations, providing expert advice, capturing action items, and creating meeting minutes
  • Assist with authoring and editing technical documentation reviews, composition of Cybersecurity plans and documentation, assistance with conducting technical reviews and testing plans, establish implementation of a configuration management (CM) plan, and assistance in maintaining and updating engineering technical data packages (TDP)

Preferred Education/Experience/Qualification:

  • A Senior Level specialist must have over eight years of experience as well as a Bachelor's/Master's degree.
  • The Senior Level specialist typically works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
  • The Senior l Level specialist may oversee the less senior staff and be responsible for all staff assigned to a specific job.

Security Clearance Requirement:

This position requires a current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Telework is not optional.

Travel:

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and occasional overnight travel may be expected.
