We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Water Resources Manager to join our Civil Engineering team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to and lead exciting water resource projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology, hydraulic modeling, stormwater and drainage systems. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about water resources and is looking to make a significant impact in the engineering industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Water Resources Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of water resources projects, including planning, design, and implementation.
2. Utilizing your expertise in hydrology and hydraulic modeling to develop and implement water resource management strategies.
3. Conducting detailed analysis of stormwater and drainage systems to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
4. Leading a team of engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure water resource projects align with overall company goals and objectives.
6. Preparing and presenting technical reports, findings, and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the water resources field.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources management, with a focus on hydrology, hydraulic modeling, stormwater, and drainage.
3. A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
4. Proven experience managing and leading water resource projects.
5. Strong knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal water resource regulations.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and SWMM.
