Quality Analyst

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Quality Analyst for a contract position in Kansas City, KS. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Requires proficiency in Quality Assurance Procedural work and expertise in Application work by combining hands-on experimentation with scientific principles and knowledge from science/engineering education to drive foundational technical understanding and solve technical problems.
  • Delivers technical outputs which address critical innovation challenges and completion of key milestones.
  • Execute and reinforce the Corporate Quality Assurance principles and release information for incoming Raw Materials and/or Finished Product. Troubleshoot and solve issues related to the Quality of the Raw materials and of Finished Products produced at the Site. Meet production and consumer needs by timely and effectively inform the status of the release criteria. Lead the implementation and maintenance of Quality Assurance principles (KE).
  • Coach others and actively participate in ownership of specific key elements (follow action plans and maintenance of the processes.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to identify improvements and execute the improvements by documentation updates or creation.
  • Coach key resources on industry quality standards and systems.
  • Understanding of GDP - Good Documentation Practices.
  • Understanding of GMP standards and integration of IPEC excipient guidelines into work systems relative to a chemical production plant.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems and the application into Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Basic Excel, word. Good interpersonal skills. Organized, cleanness and accuracy while working. Decision making. Problem-solving skills, Analytical background.

Preferred:
  • Previous experience with the client's i-Quality system.
  • Understanding of laboratory and analytical method best practices.
